Heart

The heart shaped face has a wide forehead and high cheekbones that tapers to a narrow chin. Blush should be applied in a sideways V on the cheekbones. Blend up from your cheekbones to your temple and then extend the blush over your brow a bit toward the center of your forehead.

Round

The round shaped face is almost as wide as it is long with the greatest width at the cheek. Add definition by applying the blush at a 45 degree angle following your cheekbones. Follow by applying a bit of blush to the chin to create an illusion of length to the face.

Oval

The oval shaped face has a forehead that is wider than the chin. The cheekbones are dominant with the face tapering from the cheeks to a narrow chin. Sweep color up towards the temples to highlight your cheekbones.

Long

The long shaped face is an elongated square shape. Balance out the length with more horizontal strokes of blush. Be sure not to extend the blush lower than the tip of the nose.

Square

The square shaped face has a squared forehead about the same width as the cheekbones and jaw line. To soften the squared jaw, apply blush in small circles focusing on the apples of your cheeks. Blend toward your temples and apply a dab to your forehead and chin.
